I'll stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Ex two-time world title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I will break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.

"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters met for the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
